Hi Friends,
It’s been 12 days since my last blog post. Can that even be right?!
My days have been pretty full and my goal this month is to try and keep focused on Jesus, my Joy. So far so good. 🙂
Up until today we haven’t had much snow. But today is a different story! And a week ago or so we had such bad freezing rain and ice that schools were closed for a day. You know it’s bad when OUR schools close, ’cause they hardly ever do!
I am finishing up the last of my product orders and now all I am selling in my shop are patterns until the end of December. I actually published a new pattern today, Easy Elegance Fingerless Gloves. We’ll see if it generates any interest. 🙂
I sure hope you are all doing well. Remember to choose (and pray for) peace and joy instead of worry and negativity. And if you are sad or hurting this season, I pray that you will find love and comfort in Jesus our Immanuel (God with us).
Adoring Him,
Jackie
P.S. If you crochet and are looking for some special gifts to create for your loved ones, I have an option for you:
Merry Christmas! We too are focusing on Jesus!! Hugz Lisa and Bear
Thanks Lisa! And that’s awesome! Hugs back, Jackie
You should market your latest fingerless gloves to the winter wedding market, they would be perfect.
Your snowy pictures made me slightly depressed however, I now know that we for sure have a ton more snow than Alaska!!!! LOL! What’s with that?!
Hi Deb! Good idea and thanks! Well, if this makes you feel any better that was after my son shoveled us out and we have a ton more this evening. :).
I hope you’re keeping warm there in the snow! 🙂
Thanks Sarah! The woodstove is getting lots of use. 🙂
Oh I LOVE wood stoves! We don’t have one (we live in a city apartment) but in the south of France, lots of people have wood stoves, including my OH’s family. It’s lovely to sit around it.
We love ours!
Your gloves are beautiful and I agree with Deb about making them wedding gloves. I love the pictures from the shop. So warm and inviting. I love the schools that have a tux band uniform. My son’s school wears tuxes, too and it just makes the boys so grown up and more handsome. I am not a fan of snow and we were dumped on this weekend and I am not happy. I feel bad for all of your snow.
Hi Ginny! Thank you for your compliment about the gloves. 🙂 And I like the tuxes too. The snow isn’t always fun, but its definitely better than dreary rain or freezing rain! Hope your snow is manageable. Blessings!
